Wheels on the Bus

Mason LOVES his music in the car and we listen to the same cd over and over. Here he is singing “Wheels on the Bus”. The music gets old after awhile, but his cute singing never does!

Update

Well potty training went well for a week, but then Mason decided he wanted his diaper back and screams every time we try to take it off, so I guess it’s on hold for now.  No big rush, but he started doing it on his own so figured we would try.  Maybe again soon!

We’re excited for a weekend at home and probably heading to the beach tomorrow, so maybe some good pics to come.

Potty training

We started potty training Mason last weekend and it is going pretty well so far. There have been a few accidents, but I think he’s starting to get it. The cutest part is seeing him run around in his big boy underwear!  Sorry for the blurry pic, but it was the best I could do.  He was running and dancing around and wouldn’t sit still!

Playdate

We had a great time meeting up with my good friends from high school, Monica and Courtney. We have shared so many wonderful memories with each other and now have children around the same age and it’s fun to see them play together. Court did a great job catching a few photos of them in action…

Park

Birthdays, Lake and Beach

Daddy was away in France visiting his family and celebrating his grandmother’s 90th birthday along with Uncle Norman’s and Bonne Maman’s.  We missed him terrible, but luckily were able to go to the lake to celebrate Nana’s birthday and spend time with Grandpa, Uncle Mark, Aunt Shannon, and Uncle Peter.  We had a great time and Mason couldn’t get enough of the sandbox and playing in the lake with his Uncles and Aunt.

Then Nana came back to Stamford to help with the boys while I got  my wisdom teeth out.  We spent some time at the park and beach and enjoyed the summer weather.

Buds

One of my good friends, Jess, has a daughter a day younger than Mason and a 2nd daughter 3 weeks older than Cal.  It’s so much fun for the kids to play together.

Brothers

Now that Cal is getting a little older, it’s so cute to see the boys doing things together.  We just took them for their first wagon ride:

And here they are sharing the cart at Costco.  You’ll notice Cal has a bruise under his eye from Mason throwing a toy at him, so it’s not always brotherly love, but most of the time they are pretty cute with each other.

Hot days

The water park birthday party we went to today was perfect for such a hot, humid day. Mason had a blast and enjoyed celebrating Ethan and Emily’s 3rd birthday.
